A Proposed New Builtwell Modular Plant in Hankinson, North Dakota

Designed and developed by Hopewell360

Modular Construction by Builtwell

  • Precise, Predictable, and Efficient

Modular construction consists of finished factory-built units, shipped and set on a prepared foundation. Finishing work to the exterior, common space, and landscape is performed on-site. This process of manufacturing, transporting, and installing simplifies and shortens construction time.

  • Housing Productivity

Volumetric modular construction methods boost housing productivity in a controlled and precise manufacturing environment. This proposed Builtwell plant delivers:
    • Reduced build times
    •. Consistent high quality
    •. Less waste
    •. Built in sustainability features
    • Cost savings

  • Housing Demands

This proposed new BuiltWell factory and the homes it produces will keep energy demands low by producing sustainably built, high quality, precision built housing to meet a broad range of housing needs (single-family, twin home, townhomes, multi-family apartments, and hospitality). This factory will be able to address large market segments with established demands.

  • Fall 2026

The Builtwell plant will be a modern 234,000 sq.ft. facility to produce housing starting fall of 2026. It will use innovative fabrication technologies to produce net zero ready housing models that are both cost effective and energy efficient.
